In Davis, CA, lunch at Tommy J's aka Froggy's. On my way to spend a week up in Grass Valley. Any favorite spots in the area?

I can hear a bunch of different birds sitting here by this creek. Quail and turkey! Also, non-dinner birds. So lovely.

I'd forgotten that stars come in different colours.

OK honestly a wood burning stove is a damn inconvenient way to heat a house. Slow, dirty, awkward, have to carry wood. Still, pretty!

@coda heh it's a nice part of CA; we rented a house in Alta Sierra for a week, may buy a second home up here. Looking for quiet.

Learning my way around Grass Valley / Nevada City. It's totally awesome up here, you should drive up from SF some weekend.
