America / New York time

Cold, rainy (snowy?) day in New York. Feeling terribly lazy, my big ambition today is to read this Elder Scrolls novel. flic.kr/p/azYXh1

If you're going to be in a Nor'easter in New York, I definitely recommend enjoying it from the 36th floor of a hotel.

Mas Farmhouse in the Village is cooking excellent food. Really enjoyed dinner there.

Beautiful clear crisp day in NY. Feeling optimistic and ambitious; where should we go?

59th to 125th on the A train: the New York Subway leap of faith.

The Cloisters is the perfect outing for today. Crisp, calm, beautiful. Thanks for the suggestions everyone! flic.kr/p/aAkyRm

The Cloisters is very American / Disneyesque. Buy parts of 8+ European churches, ship them to New York, assemble one beautiful Frankenchurch

Pre-theatre drinks at Emmet O'Lunney's, a surprisingly pleasant Irish bar on 50th.

E&E Grillhouse martini: bacon infused vodka, pickle brine, vermouth. Garnished with habañero flavored cucumber pickle.

They're taping Touched by an Assassin (aka Person of Interest) outside my hotel today. Saw the bug-eyed guy from Lost on set. Love that guy.

On our way out of New York. It's been a good visit, full of friends and food and arts. Also looking forward to being home.

Made it home. Never leaving the house again.
