Well that was good fun. A strong continuation of the trilogy, greatly expounding on the characters and setting and telling a complex, fun tale. I think this series' big strength is the ambiguity and complexity of so many of the characters. Ali, Dara, Muntadhir, even Nahri are all messy characters. Villains in one scene, honorable in another, it makes for a much more interesting fantasy epic series than the usual hero tropes. This book got particularly complex with two different main antagonists working at once, not to mention minor hostile forces interfering in things. I almost got lost in times but the author pulls it all together into a delightful page turning conclusion.
