The Fall of Hyperion
★★★★★Shelved Aug 24, 2019
Really liked this. The author set up an incredibly sprawling and absurd set of plots, including a bunch of time travel nonsense. Then he brought it all together and stuck the landing. And all that without the narrative crutch of a "8 tales within a story" structure from the first book. I loved the characters, I loved the story, I was excited to read every page. A really great conclusion to the first book.
Goodreads readers give it 4.25★, from 158,166 ratings. I gave it 5★, +0.8, where I'm usually −0.9: I liked it more than most.
