The Collapsing Empire
★★★★★Read Sep 19, 2021
Fun read, gobbled it up in two days. I'm not sure this book is much more than simple entertainment. And shallow entertainment at that, it's a pretty thin story. If I were making Prestige TV out of this book it would be like three one hour episodes. Nothing wrong with all that, the story is very well written and the characters are fun. Particularly Kira Kiva, the sexually voracious and profane no-bullshit space trader.
The premise of the universe is good and not too overthought. Will immediately read the second to find out what happens next.
