Paladin's Hope

Good fun reading, light and entertaining queer romance / fantasy. Sadly I didn't write this review right after reading it and I've already forgotten a lot just ten days later. Enjoyable but not memorable. I did like the gay romance and particularly liked the character Piper, his loner confidence. The sexy parts were sexy although I wish there were more!

What I really didn't like is the main plot action for the middle of the book, probably half the book. It's a specific conceit that had me rolling my eyes at the tedium of it. Fortunately the author doesn't dwell too much on it and uses it as an artifice to hang the romance on, so it worked out OK.
