Only Mostly Devastated

Sweet young adult romance. It's a little too much about the neuroses of a teenager wondering if the boy likes him back but, eh, that is the genre. What made this book interesting is how gay it read. The central conflict is whether the boy in question is willing to come out and date the protagonist. And his fear of a homophobic reaction from his friends and family. That challenge was written very well and felt true to me which made the whole book more than just a silly romance.
