Light of the Jedi (Star Wars: The High Republic)

I enjoyed this entertainment product. There were many adventures and characters. Lots of laser swords and space wizards. They had a big fight and the good guys won. Or did they? A whole franchise of more story awaits, a multi-media onslaught guaranteed to occupy us for the next ten years.

Competently written but utterly soulless, devoid of any deep meaning or excitement. Perfectly serviceable middlebrow entertainment that was not asked to do much and did not do much.
