Laud Humphreys: Prophet of Homosexuality and Sociology
★★★★★Read Apr 17, 2015
Interesting book, but only of interest to folks wanting inside baseball on sociology and research ethics. Or my oddball interest, which was reading Tearoom Trade as a gay document. It's a reasonably thorough and fair treatment of Humphrey's career, I'm grateful it was written.
Goodreads readers give it 3.17★, from 12 ratings. I gave it 2★, −1.2, where I'm usually −0.9: I rated it like most.
Won Lambda Literary Award 2004.
