Heated Rivalry

Well that was great. I came here from the TV show, so I was primed to like it, and it definitely helps to visualize Shane and Ilya via the fantastic performances we saw this year. But this book is well written!

I particularly like that it dwelt more on Shane's inner journey, his coming out. This came through well in the show but I felt it more in the book. Also Ilya's change. It's a little more complicated since we don't get much of his POV, or maybe he's underwritten. But the place he ends this book is lovely.

Also very sexy book! But not quite as overwhelming as the first one. Much more emotion and actual romance too, very sweet.
