Dawnshard

This was a fun read and a meatier story than I expected for a filler novella. Rysn is a great character and the bits of world lore fleshed out here are quite interesting. There's a B plot involving secrets and plots within the crew that didn't really go anywhere but, eh, I give him credit for trying.

These Stormlight books are like potato chips: tasty, filling, not much complexity or nutrition. Just right to fill hours, I'm reading them now while travelling in Europe and needing undemanding downtime.
