An Unkindness of Ghosts

Very good and disturbing novel. I love generation ship stories. This story is that but it's a bleak and hopeless one. Not only has civilization and technology failed on the ship but so has politics and the current society is a brutal and inequitable community. With a lot of physical and sexual violence suffered by our protagonist and her friends.
It's all sympathetically written. And there's moments and love and grace, queer moments at that. The book is depressing but also humane and at times lovely.
Looking forward to more from this author!
