Romance novels are a new thing for me and sadly this book confirmed the stereotypes that have kept me away from the genre. Fluffy, limited, some editing mistakes. One sex scene which didn't work great. What I did like was the slow build of romance, the quarreling rivals, and also the trappings of a fantasy novel universe.
