Report details

The report above represents a win in a Normal (unranked) game by Team Noxus and Kill. The scoreline 37k 3 · 0 25k indicates the winning team made 37k gold and killed 3 towers, the losing team killed 0 towers and made 25k gold. The losing team surrendered after 20 minutes, which explains the low tower count. Each line in the lower report indicates stats for a single player: gold earned, kill participation, and kills · deaths · assists.

Joining Gamebot

At the moment signup to @gamebot is manual. If your team wishes to join, please private message @skinx in the L5 Slack. Provide the team's name, the team's region, and the exact summoner names of everyone who should be considered team members. There must be at least five players in the team; more is OK. In addition please tell @skinx the name of your Team's slack channel and invite @gamebot to join it so it can make reports.

A bit more detail

@gamebot is by me, @skinx, aka Nelson Minar. I've been developing it off and on for a few months for a group of friends who play LoL together. My primary goal is social, to make it easier to see when my friends play. Learning Fives is the first big user of @gamebot outside of my private group. If you're interested in using it elsewhere or want it to do something different, please get in touch.

Behind the scenes, @gamebot works by using the Riot API to download match history data to a private database. When it sees a team game, it uses the Slack API to report it to the team channel. @gamebot also knows how to report to Discord servers.
